Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PlanArmory ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website, AI business plan generator, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PlanArmory, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

PlanArmory is an AI-powered business plan generator. Users answer a series of questions, and our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate business plan documents. The Service includes:

  • AI-generated business plan creation
  • PDF document downloads
  • Organization and team management
  • Subscription-based access tiers

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Plans

PlanArmory offers the following tiers:

  • Free Plan: Limited to 1 business plan (no credit card required)
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited business plans at $29/month or $278/year

Plan features and pricing are subject to change. Current pricing is always available at planarmory.com/pricing.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for all applicable fees.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.

5. AI-Generated Content

Nature of Content

Business plans generated by PlanArmory are created using artificial intelligence (currently OpenAI GPT-4). The generated content is:

  • For informational and planning purposes only — it is not financial, legal, or investment advice
  • Not guaranteed for accuracy — AI-generated projections, market analyses, and financial figures are estimates and should be independently verified
  • Not a substitute for professional advice — consult qualified professionals before making business decisions based on generated content

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and using any AI-generated business plan. PlanArmory is not liable for business decisions made based on generated content.

Ownership of Generated Content

You own the business plans generated through your account. We do not claim ownership of your generated content. However, we may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our Service.

6. Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of any information you submit to PlanArmory (e.g., business details, form responses). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or prompts
  • Use automated tools to access the Service (scraping, bots, etc.)
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit generated plans without an account
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

The PlanArmory name, logo, website design, and underlying technology (excluding AI-generated content you own) are our intellectual property and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.

9. Termination

By You

You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us at hello@planarmory.com.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Fail to pay applicable fees

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period (typically 30 days).

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • Defects will be corrected in any particular timeframe

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLANARMORY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PlanArmory harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Business decisions made based on AI-generated content

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
